Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was born to Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist, 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate agents. Her grandfather had moved to Greece in 1904 and her mother was of Irish origin. Her parents got married in 1976. Psaki also has Polish ancestry.Psaki graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, she received an College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is an active Chi Omega member. Psaki was backstroke swimmer on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two years in succession. Psaki's professional career started in 2001, when she became a part of the campaigns to re-elect Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat running for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced that Psaki will serve as an analyst in the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, she'll also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform.
