Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born on November 24 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a political candidate, as a host from the US at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising along with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will leave the show in May 2021 to begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her increased interest in politics to being the mother of 2008's primary elections. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election outcome while in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact of the election on people in the country, and thus she was able to appreciate the worldwide impact US politics have on the lives of people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 15, 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
